The Mission

 The heart and brains behind Lillechurch Field, Carly & Rosie are the driving force behind the fun, inclusive dog events you see throughout the year. As passionate facilitators of all things dog-related, they aim to create spaces where every dog and family can feel welcome, learn together, and have a great time doing it. Rosie also runs a successful grooming business Lush Pups and Nellie’s Raw Dog Deli & Bakery—so she knows a thing or two about keeping dogs looking and feeling their best! 

 Kind, patient, and full of passion for dogs (especially a good Labrador!),  With a wealth of hands-on and academic experience Krissi brings calm energy and clear guidance to every class. Her ability to explain things in a way that just clicks makes her a favourite among both dogs and their humans. Whether she’s leading Rally Obedience, Allbreedience, or scent work alongside Carly, Krissi knows how to make training both effective and fun.  You’ll sometimes catch Krissi helping out in 1-2-1s too—always ready with a smile, a bit of encouragement, and just the right advice to keep things on track. 

Ellie is a skilled dog handler who shines when it comes to teaching tricks, game-based learning, and helping owners understand their dog’s natural traits and how to channel them. Her classes are fun, insightful, and packed with practical handling advice. Ellie is also the owner of some wonderfully neutral dogs, who you might spot lending a paw as stooges in 1-2-1 sessions. Alongside her brilliant Collie, Nova, Ellie is an Assistance Dog handler and always happy to share her personal journey and knowledge of the assistance dog world.

 Our field is fully kitted out with a wide range of equipment designed to build confidence in both dogs and handlers. From sport-specific gear like Rally Obedience and Hoopers setups, to fun obstacles that encourage teamwork and trust, there’s something for every training session you come too. You’ll also find a variety of surfaces to train on, helping dogs learn to focus in all kinds of environments. And of course, our big old Oak Tree offers the perfect shady (or sheltered!) spot to relax between sessions - rain or shine! 

 Set across 3.5 acres, our field offers plenty of room- especially with a long straight line that’s perfect for those needing extra space to get started, work on reactivity, or practice impulse control. It’s an ideal spot to build strong recall foundations, even with distractions like wildlife, nearby road noise, curious farmers next door, and, of course, that irresistible grass scent! Plus, if you’re lucky, you might catch a stunning sunset view from the top of the field - making training sessions a little extra special. 

 We believe dog training is all about community - a village where people support, encourage, and share their love for dogs. While our field isn’t open to the general public to use as a dog park setting, our Open Field nights are the perfect chance to train your way, at your own pace, alongside friendly faces who get it.
