Carly is a dog trainer with a passion for helping dogs and their humans build stronger, happier relationships. Her journey began in 2019 when she welcomed Merlin, a mischievous Cockapoo, into her life. What started as managing a little whirlwind quickly turned into a fascination with canine behaviour, and she hasn’t looked back since.
Through fostering dogs that struggled in kennel environments, Carly gained invaluable hands-on experience with nervous and misunderstood dogs - those that didn’t just need training, but compassion and communication. This inspired her to dive deeper into dog psychology and behaviour, training with respected organisations such as:
Carly has also shadowed multiple trainers, worked as a dog walker to study real-world behaviour, volunteers at independent rescues if a more complex dog comes in to aid with their rehoming profile, and continues her professional development to stay up to date with modern, fair, and effective training methods.
Now living with her three dogs - Merlin, Maggie the rescued Labrador, and Major the rescued Bull Lurcher - Carly understands that every dog is different. She offers group classes in Scent Work, Hoopers, and Rally Obedience, behaviour workshops, support for owner-trained assistance dogs, and tailored 1-2-1 training plans.
Carly believes in a compassionate, fair, and evidence-based approach to dog training. Whether you're building confidence, addressing behavioural issues, or just want to have more fun with your dog, Carly is here to support you every step of the way.
