MAJOR POWER GRC

What is GRC?

GRC (Gameness, Relationship, Control) is a fun and welcoming dog sport that’s all about building a stronger bond with your dog while giving them a safe outlet for their energy. We focus on community spirit — all breeds, all sizes, and all people are welcome!

Through Major Power GRC, we build on important skills like play and channelling your dog’s natural drive (they all have it)!. Step by step, this helps your dog learn to listen, stay focused, and want to take part in training and drive sports with you.

What about SR1?

SR1 (Social Responsibility 1) is the foundation test in GRC. It’s a way to show that your dog can stay calm, polite, and focused in everyday situations around people and other dogs. Think of it as good manners for real life — making walks, outings, and community events more enjoyable for everyone. The foundations for every drive sport! You do not have to do the drive sports if you do not wish too - or you can re visit them later down the line. SR is a great foundation for well rounded behaviour in the real world.

Why Should I play with my dog?

Teaching your dog to play isn’t just about having fun, it’s about strengthening your bond, boosting their confidence, and improving their overall wellbeing. Play helps dogs develop important social skills, stay mentally stimulated, and burn off energy in positive ways. Even if your dog doesn’t currently show interest in toys or games, we can help! With patience, encouragement, and the right approach, we’ll work together to discover what motivates your dog and build their desire to play. Before long, you’ll both be enjoying interactive, joyful moments that make training and daily life more rewarding.

It's these foundations that transfer into drive sports teaching self control to your dog around things they LOVE to do!

Drive Sports

Wall Climb

Spring Pole

Spring Pole

Wall Climb is an exciting and rewarding sport that’s as fun to watch as it is to train! Dogs climb a vertical wall to retrieve their toy, then safely return to the ground with the help of their handler (or a harness and pulley if needed).

It’s a great way to build your dog’s athleticism, confidence, and trust- while strengthening the bond you share as a team.

Spring Pole

A Spring Pole is a hanging tug toy that gives dogs an exciting outlet for play and training.

Handlers guide their dogs through exercises such as releasing the toy on command, responding to obedience cues from a distance, and waiting patiently until given permission to play again.

This turns what is often just a high-energy toy into a powerful training tool — helping dogs learn self-control, focus, and trust, all while strengthening the bond between dog and handler.

Slat Mill

Slat Mill

The slat mill is a safe, non-motorized treadmill designed just for dogs! It lets your dog burn energy, build endurance, and have fun at their own pace -  no matter the weather outside. Perfect for all breeds, it’s a great way to keep your dog healthy, happy, and focused while strengthening your bond together.
